Kicked up Tradtional Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Appearance and Texture 4
This is a thick, creamy, orange colored sauce highlighted with pieces of black pepper and other spices. This sauce is smooth and not oily like most butter and oil based wing sauces tend to be.
Aroma 4
A bit of a vinegary tang amidst vegetable, garlic and a slight hint of sweetness.
Straight Up Taste 4
The flavor is a bit of tangy among the taste of veggies, garlic and the fresh habaneras. There are more levels of complexity in the taste over most standard wings sauces and there was no hint of bitterness.
Taste on Food 4.5
With almost perfect touches of spiciness and a nice balance of flavor this sauce really shines when used with food. I was pleasantly surprised how well the sauce blends and enhances the taste of food.
Heat 3.5
I did expect much more heat from this sauce. True chili heads maybe a little disappointed at the heat, but others may find it much too hot.
