About GE & Thrillist’s 1032 K Hot Sauce
What’s In It? Developed by Steve Seabury of High River Sauces and scientists at GE, 1032 K Hot Sauce contains Carolina Reaper and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Peppers, which have been measured on the Scoville Scale at 2.2 million SHU and 2 million SHU, respectively.
What’s With The Name? The K stands for Kelvin (a temperature measurement scale), and 1032 K represents the highest temperature matter can withstand before it begins to break down. So the name basically means something that’s so hot, it will actually destroy matter. In this case, the matter is you.
Why Is It Special? It was produced in a limited run of only 1000 bottles. It went on sale at Thrillist back in April for $19.99 each, and they sold out in minutes, but thanks to Steve Seabury of High River Sauces, we are giving it away. For free.
