Summertime Cocktails for Every Day of the Week

Summer will be here before we know it, and here at Hot Sauce Depot, we are looking forward to another excuse -as if we need one - to sip on some delicious summertime cocktails. For this reason, we’re sharing seven of our favorites, one to enjoy each day of the week while your on summer vacation. Some even come as mixes to make your life that much easier, and happy hour can start that much sooner!

Margarita Mondays are one of our favorite days of the week during the summer. Whether you like your tequila shaken or blended, the sweet and sour flavor of a lime margarita will be just what you need after a hot day in the sun. If you’re interested in a margarita with a twist, try our Ass Kickin' Margarita Mix.

For Tuesday, relax with a nice John Daly. The ingredients you need are lemonade, iced tea, and vodka. Fill your glass with ice, pour a shot (1 oz.) of vodka into it and add equal parts lemonade and iced tea. Top it off with a slice of lemon and you’re good to go!

Sticking with the lemonade, on Wednesday, spend happy hour with a Summer Shandy. Here’s a recipe from Betty Crocker we like. It doesn’t get much easier than pouring ¾ cup of a beer and ¼ cup of lemonade into a glass!

Not technically a cocktail, our go-to drink on Thursday is white wine spritzer. Grab a bottle of wine, some club soda (or sprite), and fruit for garnish. While there are many recipes out there, we suggest going with the flow and making each drink to taste! Mix the wine and soda together, add the garnish and voila, a white wine spritzer to sip on!

After a long, rough week of backyard BBQs and lounging on the beach, you deserve a night to think of nothing but the upcoming weekend. While you’re unwinding, put your feet up with a chilly mojito. Here’s a recipe we recommend from The Food Network.

Whether you’re headed to a party or spending the day by the pool, a Whiskey Peach Smash is the perfect cocktail for enjoying Saturday. You can even throw all the ingredients into the blender for an extra icy treat!

While this may not come as a surprise to you, we think Sundays are perfect for a hot and spicy Bloody Mary. We prefer our Bloody Mary Mix From Hell, but we might be a little bit biased. Just add some vodka to the mix and you’re good to go. Don’t forget the lemon and a few green olives for garnish. Whether you’re serving these at brunch or sipping on them at the pool, the refreshing spice will keep you relaxed all day long!

So there you have it, a summer cocktail for every day of the week while you're on vacation. Just remember, if you’re going anywhere, make sure you have a designated driver!
