High River Sauces Rattler BBQ Sauce was created via collaboration between celebrity chef Chris Santos and High River's Steve Seabury. This medium-heat barbecue sauce gets its name (and heat) from cascabel chili peppers. The cascabel chili is also known as "the rattle chili," earning its nickname from the rattling sound the seeds make when a dried cascabel pepper is shaken.
In addition to the cascabel chile, High River Sauces Rattler BBQ Sauce also contains Orange Habanero & Cayenne Pepper, tomato, molasses, honey, raisin, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and even coffee, giving this smoky sauce its robust and complex flavor.
