Hot Sauce Depot's Scholarship For Madison’s Rae of Hope

HOT SAUCE DEPOT'S SCHOLARSHIP FOR MADISON'S RAE OF HOPE 2018/2019 INFORMATION

APPLICATION FORM

Back in 2016, we had created the Hot Sauce Depot Texas Scholars Program to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Under this program, a scholarship of $500 is annually awarded to an exceptional student who is currently accepted to or enrolled in an accredited Texas university, college, or technical school. Hot Sauce Depot has been a part of the Fort Worth, Texas community since 2006, and we are proud to have this opportunity to give back.

About Madison’s Rae of Hope

For this year’s scholarship, we expanded our mission by partnering with the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Madison’s Rae of Hope to increase awareness for suicide prevention. Madison’s Rae of Hope was founded by the parents of Madison Rae Torres, a kind and beautiful young lady who took her own life on October 20, 2015. Madison’s parents created the organization to provide an online resource for coping skills and suicide prevention with the goal of helping any individual who is experiencing pain as well as supporting those who love them.

Our Mission

The mission of the Hot Sauce Depot Texas Scholars Program is to provide financial assistance to deserving students attending postsecondary school in the state of Texas. The program was developed with the goal of directly assisting individuals within our community who are working towards achieving their career goals. By partnering with Madison’s Rae of Hope, this year’s mission also includes raising awareness for bullying, mental health and suicide prevention.
